Vander Kodde, William William Vander Kodde, age 93, was welcomed on January 24, by his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ into his mansion in glory – John 14:1-3. There he joined a number of his siblings and two grandchildren, Andre’ and Alexandria. Bill leaves behind his cherished wife of more than 70 years, Leora; and a younger sister Virginia; along with his four sons, David (Donna), Thomas (Laurie), Daniel, Timothy (Sharon), and Cindy Vander Kodde; 38 grandchildren; and 30 great-grandchildren. Bill was a faithful member of Oakdale Park CRC where he served as a youth group leader, mission board member, and elder over the years. Though Bill honorably served in the US Navy in WWII, he founded Vander Kodde Construction and generously invested himself, his time, and money into his family and others. All he wanted told is, “Bill loved Jesus and you should too!” A celebration service will be held at a later date.
